2. Audience measurement: browsing data collected through an analytics service, only after you consent (see the Cookie Policy).

To send future tribunes (newsletter); to understand the site’s readership (statistics).

Recipients

Your data is never sold. It may be processed on our behalf by third-party service providers (for email delivery and audience measurement) and by our hosting provider, acting strictly as processors under our instructions.

Retention

Signup data is kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.

Governing law

Personal data is handled in accordance with Cameroon’s Law No. 2024/017 of 23 December 2024 on the protection of personal data, under the oversight of ANTIC (Cameroon’s National Agency for Information and Communication Technologies).

Your rights

International readers

We voluntarily extend equivalent data-protection rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) to readers located in the EU and elsewhere, as a matter of good practice.

Cross-border processing

Some service providers may process data outside Cameroon, under appropriate safeguards.
